What kind of life he must have lived, how he must have spent his life that even after 400 years, one feels youthful at the mention of Rana Pratap’s name. What is that power, what is that sacrifice of life which is giving us glory even today. Paving the way forward. We have to think what is the reason that one feels like bowing his head while taking the name of Maharana Pratap. Know about Maharana Pratap
Maharana Pratap was the son of Rana Udai Singh of Mewar and Maharani Jaywanta Bai. He was born on 9 May 1540 in Kumbhalgarh Fort. After the death of his father in the year 1572, Maharana Pratap assumed the throne of Mewar. After this he fought against the Mughals and Akbar’s army for many years. There came a time when Maharana Pratap had to live in the forest. He ate bread made of grass but did not accept to bow before Akbar.
