Meanwhile, last Tuesday, the fifth accused in this case, Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary, was arrested. This action took place in Basni village of Nagaur. Rafiq is a resident of Basni and runs a tea hotel in Kurla, Mumbai.

The hotel run by Rafiq is often frequented by shooters. It is alleged that Rafiq had made a video of Salman Khan’s house and given it to Lawrence’s brother Anmol Bishnoi. During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that not only Salman Khan, but two other stars were also the target. Giving information, Mumbai Crime Branch officials said that along with Salman Khan, the houses of two other stars were also spied on. Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has played an important role in this case.

According to the information received, after taking delivery of the weapons on March 15, 2024, Anmol had told the shooters about the plan. He was the one who ordered the shooters to open fire at Salman’s house. Reiki of Salman Khan’s apartment was done on 12 April. The shooters got Rs 3 lakh for this work. Mumbai Crime Branch is continuously investigating this matter. After the shooting incident, Mumbai Police has imposed Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) against all those involved in the shooting.
