Aapki Kasam was the first film in which Rajesh Khanna and Sanjeev Kumar were cast together. Both of them had also worked together in the film Bandhan, but Sanjeev was only in a special appearance. This was the seventh film of Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz. Both of them worked for the first time in the film Do Raaste.

The music of the film ‘Aapki Kasam’ has also been a big hit. The song Jai Jai Shivshankar from the film is still quite famous. Not only this, it also stood second in the annual list of Binaka Geetmala in 1974. This song is played every time on the festival of Mahashivratri.
Another song from the film Karvaten Badalte Rahe was also at 17th place in this list. The music of the film was composed by RD Burman and its songs were written by Anand Bakshi.
