The news of a tragic accident has come to light from Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. There is news of death of 4 people during cleaning of septic tank in Mughalsarai area of the district. These deaths have occurred due to poisonous gas coming out from inside the septic tank. According to the information received so far, the septic tank which the workers had gone to clean was about 15 years old. Due to the simultaneous death of 4 people in an accident, there is an atmosphere of mourning in this entire area. Let us know how this painful incident happened.
How did the whole incident happen?
Police have said that a person named Bharatlal Jaiswal was getting the septic tank of his house cleaned on Wednesday night in Kalimahal locality of Mughalsarai area. However, at the same time, due to poisonous gas coming out of the tank, three sweepers Vinod Rawat, Kundan and Loha, residents of Kalimahal, became unconscious. According to the information, Bharat Lal’s son tried to save these sanitation workers but he also came in contact with the poisonous gas. All of them were taken to the hospital in an unconscious state but all of them died during treatment.
Compensation of Rs 4 lakh
After this tragic incident came to light, area SDM Viraj Pandey has talked about giving compensation to the families of the deceased. SDM said that sewer cleaning was going on at Bharat Jaiswal’s house. In which three laborers and the son of the house owner have died. The district administration will give an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh to each deceased.
CM Yogi expressed grief
According to the information received so far, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took cognizance of this tragic accident in Chandauli. CM Yogi has expressed condolences to the bereaved families. Along with this, he has also directed the officials to reach the spot as soon as possible and expedite relief measures. (input language)
