The most shocking thing in this entire incident is that all the crew members applied for sick leave together and took leave. Now the airline company has taken strict action on this and fired about 25 people from their jobs.

According to a news published in Business Standard, on Wednesday, more than 100 crew members were fired from the job by Air India Express expressing their displeasure. Let us tell you that the protesting and angry cabin crew members were absent from duty in the name of sick leave. Due to this, thousands of passengers faced problems and about 91 flights had to be canceled on Tuesday. According to Business Standard, in a termination letter sent by Air India Express to an employee, the company said that all cabin crew members took sick leave simultaneously, at the same time. This clearly points to premeditated and concerted absence from work without any justifiable reason.
Termination letter sent on email
This termination letter of Air India Express is also being shared on social media. The airline sent a termination letter to the crew members through email, in which the company said that the crew members were deliberately absent without any reason. There doesn’t seem to be any specific reason for his absence. Taking sick leave on a large scale at the same time is a violation of the rules. Not only this, by doing so the employees have also violated the Air India Express Limited Employee Service Rules applicable to them.
