After the video of a 10-year-old boy selling rolls on a Delhi street after his father’s death went viral, actor Arjun Kapoor has offered educational assistance to the child.
New Delhi: Recently, the video of New Delhi boy Jaspreet Singh, who sold ‘rolls’ for livelihood after losing his father, went viral on social media. Now actor Arjun Kapoor has offered help to 10-year-old Jaspreet Singh on Wednesday. Before actor Kapoor, businessman Anand Mahindra, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Jarnail Singh and local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajiv Babbar have announced help to Jaspreet and her sister Taranpreet Kaur.
Arjun Kapoor shared a news about Jaspreet on Instagram and praised the boy for his courage during these difficult times. Kapoor wrote in the post, “With a smile on his face, he is facing life ahead and all the challenges that come with it…I wish this 10-year-old boy a chance to stand on his feet and wait 10 days after his father passed away.” I salute him for showing the courage to handle his work within the IPC.” “I would be happy to help him or his sister with their education, if anyone knows their whereabouts, please let me know,” the actor wrote in the post.
The video was originally shared by food vlogger Sarabjit Singh a week ago. It shows how Jaspreet took over the responsibility of running the ‘food cart’ with his 19-year-old cousin Gurmukh Singh after losing his father to brain TB last month. Jaspreet and his sister are living with their aunt as their mother has moved to their hometown in Punjab.
