Mumbai: Vipul Amritlal Shah, Sudipto Sen and Ada Sharma’s film ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ has received a lot of love from the audience. The audience unanimously praised the film during its theatrical release and appreciated the makers for bringing the most daring story of Naxalites on screen. Bastar: The Naxal Story is one of the most important films of the year.

After its theatrical release, audiences were waiting for the film to be released digitally. Today the makers surprised the audience by releasing a new promo and announced the release of Bastar: The Naxal Story on the digital platform ZEE5. The film will be available to watch from May 17, 2024 and will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.

Starring Adah Sharma in the role of IPS officer Neerja Madhavan, the film tells the story of an important event in the country, which is a must watch for audiences of every generation. The film starts with a tough, bold and important topic that no one has ever dared to talk about before.

In this film based on Naxalites, stars like Vikrant Chaturvedi, Rahul Chaudhary, Purunendu Bhattacharya, Kishore Kadam and Naman were seen in important roles. This movie was released in the month of March this year, but could not do much at the box office in terms of earning.

On this occasion, director Sudipto Sen said that directing Bastar was a challenging but very wonderful experience. Our aim was to present the realistic side of the Naxalite conflict by taking inspiration from real life events and characters. Ada Sharma has once again done a brilliant job. Looking forward to the digital premiere of the film on ZEE5 and taking this story to the masses.

Ada Sharma said that Bastar is a powerful film, which raises a sensitive and important issue. I am happy with the love and appreciation that fans have given to my character in the film. With the digital premiere on ZEE5, I think the film will reach an even greater audience. I am grateful for this opportunity.
