Offer prayers to ancestors like this
1- According to religious beliefs, taking a bath in the Ganga during Brahma Muhurta on the day of Vaishakh Amavasya is considered auspicious and it is said that by taking a bath in the Ganga on this day, a person gets the fruits of many penances. Along with this one also gets freedom from sins. On this day, for the peace of the souls of ancestors, Shraddha should be performed according to their rituals.
2- On the day of Vaishakh Amavasya, water should be offered to the Peepal tree to please the ancestors. It is said that along with the Gods, ancestors also reside in the Peepal tree and they are pleased by offering water to it on the day of Amavasya. Apart from this, planting a Peepal tree in a temple on this day is also considered fruitful. If you want to please the ancestors and get their blessings, then on the day of Vaishakh Amavasya, you should offer them black sesame seeds, white flowers and Kusha. This removes ancestral defects and opens the way to success.
