New Delhi: Google Wallet has been launched in India. Google has introduced it only for Android users. This is a personal digital wallet. With which users will be able to keep their cards, tickets, passes, ID etc. digitally safe. An official provided this information on Wednesday.

This wallet of Google will be like Digilocker. In which users will be able to keep their important documents easily. The company has confirmed the launch of Google Wallet in an event organized in New Delhi. Users can download Google Wallet from Play Store.

It is quite different from the Google Pay app, which helps manage money and finances. Google’s GM and India Engineering Lead (Android) Ram Papatla said, “Google Pay is going nowhere. This will continue to be our primary payments app. Google Wallet is specifically designed for non-payment use cases.”
