AstraZeneca has decided to stop buying and selling its Covid-19 vaccine worldwide. It is worth noting that earlier AstraZeneca had admitted in the British court that this vaccine could have side effects, which include blood clotting. AstraZeneca company says that the reason for recalling the vaccines from Europe is the excess of vaccines. He says that due to excessive supply the demand for the vaccine has reduced considerably. He says that after taking the vaccine, he is facing many health related problems.
51 cases have been registered against AstraZeneca regarding side effects of the vaccine. Law firm Lee Day, representing the people filing the case, has said that 12 of the 51 plaintiffs have lost their loved ones. Sarah Moore, partner in the law firm, has said that all the plaintiffs have death certificates or medical evidence which confirms that the vaccine caused deaths or caused harm to the body. He also said that it took a year for AstraZeneca to admit that its vaccine caused this harm, even though this fact was widely accepted in the clinical community by the end of 2021.
