Kaifi Azmi
Bollywood veteran Kaifi Azmi, who was a Bollywood writer, said goodbye to this world in the year 2002 on this day. Kafi Azmi, known for his revolutionary, rebellious and opposing nature, was a true Marxist and tried to increase his thoughts all his life. Kaifi Azmi has been a big name in the world of literature and has also written many songs in more than 64 films. Many songs of Kaifi Azmi landed in the hearts of people and are still traveling in the world of music by becoming their legacy. Kaifi Azmi was a very famous poet-songman in the Hindi film industry. He was a member of the Communist Party of India and dedicated his life to promote Marx’s ideas. His first ghazal was ‘so much of life in life’ which he wrote at the age of eleven years. His father took him an exam to write ghazals.
Ghazal was written at the age of 11 years
Azmi also accepted the challenge and completed a ghazal. In 1942, he became a full -time Marxist and accepted the membership of the Communist Party of India in 1943. He was praised by other progressive writers from Lucknow there. He became a member of the progressive writer movement. At the age of twenty four, he started working in the textile mill areas of Kanpur and later became a full -time worker. He moved to Mumbai and worked among the workers and also worked for the party.
Wonderful in 1960s
The FPJ shorts wrote Awara Sajde (Awara Pranam) when the CPI and CPM were partitioned in the 1960s. She was married to actress Shaukat Azmi and had two children, actress Shabana Azmi and cinematographer Baba Azmi. In 1975, he made M.S. Sathyu’s film won the National Award and Filmfare Award for screening and dialogue in hot air. He returned to his home in Mizwan and worked there to make it an ideal village. The UP government named Sultanpur-Phulpur highway along with the road leading to Mizwan. A train going from Delhi to Azamgarh has also been named Kaifiyat Express after him. In 1993, he established the Mizwan Welfare Society for girls and women in rural India. Kaifi Azmi died on 10 May 2002 at the age of 83.
