He directly accused the IMF that the IMF will reimburse Pakistan to destroy Indian cities and how can he think that peace will be established in the subcontinent?

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has posted a post on the social media platform ‘X’. In his post, he wrote, “I am not sure how the” international community “wonders that the current tension in the subcontinent will decrease, when IMF will reimburse Pakistan for all weapons used to destroy Poonch, Rajouri, Uri, Tangdhar and many other places.”

In fact, the IMF on Friday approved the release of about one billion USD to Pakistan under the current extended fund facility. The Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan gave this information. The statement issued said, “Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the IMF’s failure of the IMF approved a billion dollar installment for Pakistan and the failure of India’s arbitrary strategy against it.”

Let us know that earlier India had expressed concern over the IMF move. India, while airing Pakistan’s poor record, feared that this IMF loan could be misused for state -sponsored cross -border terrorism. India also opposed the proposal to give a new loan of US $ 2.3 billion to Pakistan by IMF.
