Players of Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals will be sent by special train to Delhi.
The 58th match of the IPL 2025 season, which was being played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at Dharamshala stadium in the Dharamshala stadium, was canceled keeping in mind the safety of all spectators and players after the situation worsened on May 8 amid increasing tension on the border between India and Pakistan. At the same time, members of the broadcosting team along with players and support staff of both teams will be sent to Delhi today i.e. on 9 May via special train.
CPRO of Northern Railway gave information
According to the information provided by the Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, CPRO, the players of the Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals team will be sent from Pathankot to Delhi on 9 May by special train. Keeping security in mind, the timing and route of this train will not be revealed. Pakistan’s fury has been clearly visible since Operation Sindoor. Pakistan carried out several attacks on India on 8 May through drones, fighter jets, but the Indian Army has given a befitting reply to Pakistan.
