Vadodara: Colonel Sophia Qureshi along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh did ‘briefing’ about ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Wednesday morning, while her family in Gujarat was proudly swinged. According to his family, Colonel Sophia of Vadodara city had left PhD and Teaching Career to become officers in the army. His parents and brother Mohammad Sanjay Qureshi lives in Tandalja area of the city. Sanjay said that his sister was inspired by grandfather and father who was in the army. Sanjay told reporters, “You can say that patriotism is in our blood.” After finishing school, Sophia did his BSc in Biochemistry from MS University in Vadodara and then MSc, as she wanted to become a professor. ”

Sanjay was accompanied by his father Tajuddin Qureshi, mother Haneema and daughter Jara. Sanjay said, my sister joined the university as an assistant lecturer as well as a PhD in the same subject as she wanted to become a professor. Meanwhile, he was selected in the Indian Army through the Short Service Commission (SSC) and decided to leave his PhD and Teaching Career to join the army. ”He said that the whole family was proud of Sophia’s achievement. Sanjay’s daughter Zara has also made up her mind to join the army, describing her as a role model.
‘We are first Indians and later Muslims’
Colonel Sophia’s father Tajuddin Qureshi said that his family is only worried about the country. Tajuddin said, “I am proud of my daughter. My family has always followed the principle of ‘Rashtriya Jagriyam’ (we will keep the nation alive and awake). We are first Indians and later Muslims. We only care about our country. ”

Qureshi and Singh shared the names and details of the locations targeted from 1 pm to 1.30 pm on the night of 6-7 May.
