After the terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the operation of security forces in the entire state against the terrorists continues. Army and police personnel are continuously running search operations and are also destroying the terrorists and destroying their hideouts. The Jammu and Kashmir government has taken a big decision amidst this army campaign. The government has temporarily closed 48 tourist places in the Kashmir Valley.
Why was the decision taken?
The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided keeping in mind the search operation and security review against the terrorists. The government has issued an order to temporarily close 48 tourist places for tourists in the Kashmir Valley. According to officials, tourists are allowed to roam freely at 87 tourist destinations. However, out of these tourist places which have been temporarily closed are either part of the anti -terrorism search operation or located in sensitive places.
