Sambhal: Mahamandaleshwar Yatindranand Giri of Juna Akhara claimed to have no provision to build a tomb and grave in Islam and said on Monday that the grave of the ‘robber’ Mughals who came from, should be ‘slammed’ there. Giri said these things while talking to reporters at the residence of BJP leader Kapil Singhal, located in Sambhal’s Eastern locality.

What else did Mahamandaleshwar say?

Mahamandaleshwar said that we have read and known Islam a little bit. There is no provision in Islam to create any tomb, make any grave. There is also no provision for making a paved tomb and putting a roof on it. He said, ‘Islam says that after burying it, the matter should be finished by putting soil on it. Permanent grave remains, it is not in Islam. If people who believe in Islam do this kind of work, then they refute Islam somewhere.

Referring to the Mughals, Giri said, ‘The Mughals were only robbers. Came to rob India. It is appropriate to praise such robbers or to make their grave or tomb. His graves should be slammed in the country from which they came. ‘ Giri said, ‘The Mughals were not from this country. He was robbers and hungry. They did not have bread to eat. If he came from the countries from whom he was rich today, then the culture would be visible. Even today nothing is visible there.

Significantly, there has been a lot of discussion about the removal of the grave of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb from Maharashtra for some time. Politicians have also jumped into this debate. Some are in favor of removing it and someone is in favor of not removing. (input language)
