Negotiations continue to resolve business issues in India and America. The two countries are working on the outline for a bilateral trade agreement. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal have met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of US Trade Tariff today.

Explain that tariffs are import duty. These fees are levied and charged by the government. Companies have to pay these fees to bring foreign goods to the country.

Senior US business officer visit India from 25 March

At the same time, America’s assistant trade representative for South and Central Asia, Brendon Lynch will come on a five-day visit to India from Tuesday. During his visit to India, he will discuss issues related to trade and customs between the two countries. Lynch’s visit is taking place amid the announcement by US President Donald Trump to impose a counter custody on India. Trump has announced to impose this fee from April 2.

Senior US officials will meet several senior Indian officials besides interacting with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal during his visit to India. During this time negotiations are also expected between the two sides to prepare the outline of the bilateral trade agreement. The agreement will solve issues related to fees and market access between India and the United States.

An American official said, “In order of bilateral business discussions with a team of lynch American government officials, I will stay in India till 25-29 March.” The American official said, “We give importance to our connection with the Government of India on business and investment affairs and are ready to continue these discussions in a creative, justified and visionary manner.” It is undergoing talks with the US to prepare an outline that will address issues related to fees and market access.
