Priests count the offerings in the temple

A donation of crores of rupees has been given in a temple in Karnataka. This donation has been given by the devotees who come here. This includes a large amount of cash, gold and silver. Raghavendra Swami Math is in Raichur district of Karnataka. A total of 3,48,69,621 (3 crore 48 lakh 69 thousand 621) cash, 32 grams of gold and 1.24 kg of silver have been donated in this temple.

This donation made in the last 30 days

A video of the temple has gone viral, in which more than a hundred priests are seen counting the donations in Raghavendra Swami Math. This donation was offered in the temple for the last 30 days, as lakhs of devotees came to the temple to celebrate the birth anniversary of the 16th century saint Raghavendra Swami.

Former UK PM sage Sunak also came to temple

Last year, former United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy also visited Raghavendra Swami Math in Bengaluru. Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy and Rajya Sabha member Sudha Murthy reached the monastery with their daughter and son-in-law. The family of Narayan Murthy was seen performing aarti in the temple.
