Let us know that earlier on March 20, on the orders of the Delhi High Court, the action of breaking three temples in Mayur Vihar had to be stopped due to opposition from the people. A team from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) arrived with the police to demolish the Kali Temple, Amarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple at Mayur Vihar in East at around four in the morning. These temples are allegedly built on a green belt in Mayur Vihar Phase 2. People performed here under the leadership of MLA Ravinder Singh Negi. The DDA spokesperson confirmed that the sabotage action had been postponed. The spokesman said, “We had to postpone the campaign due to people’s anger. However, our legal team is reviewing the case.
Negi said that he and others were present at the scene from three o’clock in the morning and made every effort to protect the temples. He claimed that the campaign was postponed after discussion with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. At the same time, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Atishi claimed that the “double engine” government of the BJP first ordered to break, deployed bulldozers and police and then pretended to be unknown when the public’s anger erupted.
