In this case, a case has been registered against 25 people including South Indian cinema’s famous actor Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda, Manchu Lakshmi, Pranita, Nidhi Aggarwal and Ananya Nagela. The case has been registered under various sections of Telangana Gaming Act and IT Act.
Rana Daggubati’s team has issued a statement reacting to these allegations. The team clarified that Rana never promoted illegal betting apps. The statement said that Rana was the brand ambassador of skill-based sports by 2017, but after that his contract was over.
