Matt henry ruled out: The T20I series is being played between New Zealand and Pakistan. Host New Zealand made the series debut in a brilliant manner by winning the first 2 matches, but Pakistan won the third match and a brilliant comeback. Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 9 wickets in the third T20I. After this defeat, New Zealand has suffered another major setback. New Zealand’s Dhakad bowler Matt Henry is out of the remaining 2 matches of the series. Matt Henry will continue the rehabilitation program of his injury.

Henry suffered a right shoulder injury in the match against South Africa in the recently played ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi -finals. He is also struggling with left knee injury. He could not even play the final match of the Champions Trophy against India due to injury. And now he will not be able to play against Pakistan. Fast bowler Jack Fallks has been retained in the team for the remaining two matches of the series after being out of the bowler. The 22 -year -old bowler was first included in the team for just three matches.

2–1 in New Zealand series

Will O’Rurke, who was originally selected for the first three matches, has joined the T20I team for the last two matches in place of Kyle Jamison. New Zealand is leading 2–1 in the 5-match T20i series. The fourth match of the series will be played on Sunday, 23 March at Bay Oval in Tauranga and the 5th match will be played at Sky Stadium in Wellington on Wednesday, 26 March. After this, the 3 -match ODI series will begin from March 29.
