World’s largest digital camera

The world’s largest digital camera is installed in Vera C. Rubin Observatory. Astronomical events will be monitored through this camera. The zoom of this digital camera is so high that its distant planets and galaxy can also be seen. This digital camera is also called Laj Sinoptic Survey Telescope (LSST). This is the largest digital imaging device ever, through which the sky will be detailed for the next 10 years towards the South Poll.

Universe time laps will record

This large LSST camera has been successfully installed on the Simonayi Survey Telescope. Soon, its final testing will be done. After this, this observant will be able to start the operation completely. The US National Science Foundation (NSF) and Department of Energy (DoE) have given financial support in installing this large digital camera. Its purpose is to record the Universe time laps.

400 UHD television will be used to display image

According to Vera C. Rubin Observatory, this LSST camera will survey the entire sky in a few nights and capture the image with high resolution. The zoom of this camera can be gauged from this that 400 Ultra HD (UHD) TV will be required to display the image taken through it. With this capacity, this digital camera will be able to capture the image of Supernova, Esteroid and Pulsating Stars. This camera can provide a new direction in recording astronomical phenomena.

Let us tell you that Vera C. Rubin Observatory has been named after the astronomer Vera Rubin. He was the one who researched with his colleague Kent Ford to find out that Galaxy does not rotate at the speed that is expected in the rules of gravity. This indicates that no one affects dark matter in galaxy. This digital camera will also help measure the effects of dark matter present in these galaxy.
