Sports Desk, Indore. RCB star batsman Virat Kohli is very close to scoring 1000 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2025. If he achieves this milestone in this session, he will become the third batsman to score 1000 or more against KKR.
Apart from him, David Warner and Rohit Sharma have already achieved this feat. Kohli can also become the fourth highest run -scorer against KKR, as he has scored 962 runs so far.
Another milestone for Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is the only player in the history of IPL who has scored more than 1000 runs against two teams. He has achieved this feat against Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. Now he is very close to achieving it against KKR too.

Kohli’s hard work and preparations
- Kohli and his entire RCB team reached Kolkata before their first match of IPL 2025 and practiced fiercely there. Kohli demonstrated his brilliant batting skills in the practice session, in which he hit four sixes against bowlers like Liam Livingstone and Josh Hazlewood.
- Although Kohli was seen struggling for some time for the first time, but he soon achieved his rhythm and again showed his batting playing easily.
