Google deleted many apps that steal personal data.
Whenever Android smartphones users need a new application, it first goes towards the Google Play Store. There are almost all the apps that are needed by users on Google Play Store. In the recent past, cases of online fraud and scam have come up rapidly. Criminals are now making access to the app store to make people a victim of cheating. Cyber criminals sometimes add apps to the play store which steal the personal data of users.

Google has recently deleted around 300 such applications from the Play Store which were stealing personal data of users. The apps that have been removed by Google were stealing the personal data of users by bypassing Android 13.

According to the information, the apps which have been removed have been installed more than 6 crore times.
Apps were extremely dangerous for safety
According to the report, IAS Threat Lab only discovered that there are about 180 apps on the Play Store which have sent about 20 million fake aid requests. However, after removing more information later, it was found that there are about 331 apps. These apps used to get personal details by showing ads to smartphone users. These apps were also taking details of the credit card of users through fishing attack. All such apps were being handled with an operation called Vapar.
These apps could hide themselves in the phone
The apps which have been removed by Google, they can guess how much dangers for safety and privacy. Without any user interaction, they used to run and run in the background. Many of these apps used to show bridge screen adds to users. All these apps were listed on Play Store with health apps, tracking apps, QR scanner apps and apps.
