Dehradun: Pushkar Singh Dhami government’s action against illegal madrasas in Uttarakhand continues. On Thursday, 16 illegal madrasas were sealed in Udham Singh Nagar district and two in Haridwar. Due to which there is a stir among those who run illegal business under the guise of religion. So far, 110 madrasas have been sealed in the whole of Uttarakhand.
Free hand was given to administration for action on illegal madrasas
For the last one month, the Uttarakhand administration has been taking rapid action on illegal madrasas. These madrasas were being operated without the permission of the government. On which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a tough stand. CM Dhami has given free hand to the administration to take action on these madrasas, which is also getting widespread impact.
A widespread campaign is being launched against illegal madrasas across the state. The administration has also started investigating who is behind these illegal madrasas being operated on such a large scale and what kind of training was being given to the students here.
Madrasa seals here
On Thursday, 4 in Rudrapur, 8 in Kichha, Bajpur three, Jaspur one and two madrasas in Haridwar were sealed. Whereas earlier in Dehradun, Pauri, 92 madrasas have been sealed while taking action against illegal madrasas on a large scale.
The message of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is clear that no kind of tampering with the original form of the state will not be tolerated, which will be involved in illegal activities under the guise of religion, strict action will be taken against him.
The most illegal madrasas in Udham Singh Nagar
In the last 15 days, more than 50 unauthorized madrasas have been sealed in Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Vikasnagar and Udham Singh Nagar. Last month, officials identified more than 200 madrasas running without registration, with the highest number of 129 madrasas in Udham Singh Nagar district, followed by 57 madrasas in Dehradun and 26 in Nainital.
