After keeping the interest rates unchanged by the US Federal Reserve, the price of gold reached the new record level on Thursday morning. On Thursday i.e. on March 20, MCX Gold touched a record high level of ₹ 89,796 per 10 grams. According to the official website, around 11:37 am, the contract of April 4 for MCX Gold was trading at ₹ 88,823 per 10 grams with a gain of 0.25 percent. The US Federal Reserve kept its benchmark interest rate stable at 4.25–4.50 percent.

According to the news, Comex Gold touched an all -time high level of $ 3,065.20, which is a 15 percent jump so far this year. So far this year, domestic spot gold prices have increased by more than 16 percent, which is much better than risky equity.
