Through netbanking

If you want to change your spoiled or damaged debit card, then applying through net banking is the easiest and fastest way. Log in your NetBanking account using your customer ID and password. After logging in, you can go to the bank card section. Choose the debit card that has to be changed. Then, you can request for replacement and choose the address where your card should be sent. The request is accepted by the bank, and a new card is sent to your registered address within a few days.

Mobile banking is also a better platform

If you want to change the debit card, you can use the bank’s mobile banking app. By logging in mobile banking, you can request for this by going to the card menu. Once requested, your bank will process it and issue a replet debit card. The bank will send it to your registered address.

Via customer service

According to HDFC Bank, if you avoid technology, you can contact the bank customer care directly to change the debit card. Contact customer care executive and request for replacement of your debit card. The executive will accept your request, and after the request is approved, the bank will send a new debit card to your registered postal address.

You can request directly by going to the branch

Do not worry if you are not comfortable with netbanking or mobile banking. You can just go to the nearest branch of your bank to request for a new debit card. Meet the relationship manager at the branch and request for a new debit card. You can also request for immediate debit card in the branch. You will be issued a debit card immediately. The card will be connected to your account but will not have your name. Alternatively, you can request a new debit card that will be sent to your registered postal address in a few days. Understand one thing, the bank can charge a small fee in exchange for changing the debit card. When the card is issued, this fee is directly debuted with your account.
