NASA astronauts, Sunita Williams and Buch Willmore returned to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) after a long wait of 9 months. Riding in the space X capsule early Tuesday, both Astronauts landed on the coast of Florida. His 8 -day mission changed in 9 months due to a failure in Boeing’s Starlineer vehicle. Both Astronauts went to the International Space Station for a Test Mission.

The International Space Station (ISS) is located at an altitude of 254 miles (409 km) from the Earth, working as an important research laboratory for astronauts for about 25 years. America and Russia mainly operate it. This station is a major center of scientific cooperation.

Both Wilmore and Williams have been the US Navy Test pilot and later became NASA astronauts. The 62 -year -old Wilmore was a high school and college football player at Tennessee, while 59 -year -old Sunita was a competitive swimmer of Needham of Massachusetts and a long race runner. Wilmore missed most of her younger daughter’s senior year, while Sunita remained in space through internet calls to her husband, mother and family members.

Food in space

On November 18, the New York Post reported that NASA astronauts Buch Wilmore and Sunita Williams were eating pizza, roasted chicken and shrimp cocktails at the international space station. On September 9, NASA showed Willmore and Williams dining on ISS, in which some foods were visible.

Lack of fresh food

Sources said that fresh fruits and vegetables were available initially, but ended within three months. The inner source said in November last year, “Initially fresh fruits were received, but as three months passed, they ended and their fruits and vegetables packed or freeze-dry.”

variety of food

Astronauts used to consume grains, pizza, roasted chicken, shrimp cocktails and tuna in breakfast. NASA’s doctors took care of his calories.

Cook

All meat and eggs were already cooked on Earth and only heated them. Dried food such as soup, stew and caisrol were re -prepared by mixing 530 gallons of ISS by mixing water from fresh water tanks. The station also recycles in fresh water to drink urine and sweat of astronauts.

Causes of weight loss

Experts also clarified that if weight is reduced, it is not due to lack of food, as ISS has about 3.8 pounds per passenger per passenger per passenger and additional supply for any unexpected mission expansion.
