The West Bengal government has given good news for a particular class employees. The state government has decided to give ad hoc bonus of Rs 6,800 to all its employees, which do not fall under any bonus system related to any productivity. According to the news of the language, such employees whose monthly salary is less than Rs 44,000 till March will be given this special bonus. A senior official gave this information on Wednesday.
When will you get bonus
According to the news, the official said that the order has been issued by the Finance Department on Tuesday. The order said that the employees of the Muslim community would get a bonus before the Eid-ul-Fitr in the end of this month, while the rest of the others will get bonus in the period of 15-19 September. The official said that pensioners will get an ex -gratia amount of Rs 3,500. Citing the order of the Finance Department, the official said that the state government has also decided to sanction interest -free advance of up to Rs 20,000 for employees with more than Rs 52,000 in March.
Bonus amount increased this year
According to the news, the West Bengal government has decided to give ad hoc bonus to a section of the state government at a time when a section of government employees is protesting against the demand for dearness allowance. By 31 March 2025, employees whose monthly salary is Rs 44,000 or less will get an ad hoc bonus of Rs 6,800. In 2024, his ad hoc bonus was Rs 6,000. Then the upper limit of salary was 42 thousand per month.
Increase in festive advance amount
The festive advance amount has also increased compared to last year. Those whose monthly salary is between 44,000 and 52,000 rupees will get Rs 20,000 as festival advance this year. Last year, the salary limit was Rs 42,000 to Rs 50,000 per month. The state government has also announced festival allowance for retired government employees. Those who have retired and are going to retire by 31 March 2025 will get this festive allowance.
