There is tremendous anger on social media after the matter came to light. People say that if there are hotels serving liquor near Mata Vaishno Devi site, the authorities should investigate and take strict action to maintain the sanctity of the pilgrimage site. Selling or consuming alcohol in such a holy area should be prohibited.

Social media celebrity and content creator Aur, also known as Orahan Avatmani, has been registered by the Jammu and Kashmir Police on charges of drinking alcohol near the Vaishno Devi temple by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. According to a Monday report by ANI, the state police has registered a case against him on charges of drinking alcohol in a banned area in Katra.
Many generations are known for being close to Jade Bollywood celebs. He is close to others including Jahnavi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Urvashi Rautela and Bhumi Pednekar.
According to the police, a case of drinking alcohol has been registered against eight people, including Sochelight Influencer Orahan alias Aur, in a hotel in Katra. According to Times Now report, Aur has been accused with a Russian citizen and other friends named Anastasila Arzamasikina.
A formal complaint lodged at Katra police station (FIR No. 72/25) is the main accused Aur, Darshan Singh, Partha Raina, Hrithik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli and Arzamasikina. He is accused of hurting religious sentiments and disregarding the order of the District Magistrate.
In the Cottage Suit area of Katra, where they are accused of drinking alcohol, strict rules that ban non-vegetarian food and alcohol are followed, as it is near Vaishno Devi Temple, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of Hinduism.
Social media users Vaishno Devi are angry with Ari drinking alcohol during the pilgrimage. Many people demanded that the influencer should be banned from the city.
One user wrote, they are sent to obstruct, defile, insult and publish them so that it can spread and mislead others to do so elsewhere. This is good for them.
A user criticized Auri and wrote, “It is a very condemnable, unscrupulous Bollywood influence against Sanatan.”
Others defend Aur in the comment section and wrote, negative effects of fame. Every time unnecessary pressure to do moral and morally correct work. If it was someone else, no one would have cared, but since it is Aori – it is news.
