The country’s legendary telecom company Airtel said on Tuesday that the company has made an agreement to bring the high-speed internet services of Starlinks to India with Spacex, a company of Elon Musk. This is the first agreement to sign in India, which is subject to obtaining permission to SpaceX to sell Starlink in the country.

Under this, Airtel and SpaceX, Starlink devices will explore the possibilities of introducing customers and providing services to customers through Airtel’s retail stores.

Airtel and SpaceX’s agreement purpose

The company said that Airtel and SpaceX will also find out how Starlinks can expand the Airtel network and at the same time an attempt will be made to know how SpaceX can benefit from them using Airtel’s ground network infrastructure and other capabilities in India.

Bharti Airtel Managing Director and Vice Chairman Gopal Vittal said, “Working with SpaceX is an important milestone to offer Starlink to Airtel customers in India and it reflects our commitment to the next generation satellite connectivity.”

Gopal Vittal said, “This cooperation increases our ability to bring world -class fast broadband even in the most remote areas of India. This ensures that every person, business and community have reliable internet. Starlink will complement and upgrade the group of products of Airtel, so that our Indian customers can ensure reliable and cheap broadband.

SpaceX Chairman and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Gwne Shotwell said, “We are excited to work with Airtel and bring out the transformational effects that can be brought by Starlinks to the people of India. We are constantly amazed by those untrustwill and inspiring things that people, businesses and organizations do when they join the Starlinks.”

Starlinks provide high-speed internet to users in the world

Starlink offers high-speed, low-altancy internet to users all over the world. As the world’s first and largest satellite group using the lower orbit of Earth, Starlinks offer streaming, online gaming, video calls and others capable of supporting other broadband internet.
