Ranchi: During Holi in Jharkhand, a warning of scorching heat has been issued in various parts. The maximum temperature in some districts of Kolhan and Palamu divisions is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to increase by five degrees Celsius during the next four days from Friday. An official of the Meteorological Department gave this information on Thursday.

However, during this time consume water continuously. Abhishek Anand, in-charge of Ranchi Meteorological Center, said, “On March 14, a ‘yellow alert’ of the scorching heat has been issued for Kolhan Mandal, including three districts Saraikela-Kharsawan, Eastern and West Singhbhum.” He said, “On March 16 and 16, he may have a similar situation in Palamu and Garhwa districts mainly in Palamu Mandal. The maximum temperature in these two divisions can reach 40 degrees Celsius. ”

4 days dangerous in terms of heat

Anand said that due to the hot winds coming from the western region, the maximum temperature in Jharkhand could increase by three to five degrees Celsius in the next four days. The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius in Daltonganj in Jharkhand on Wednesday, which was the highest in the state and six degrees above normal, while Jamshedpur in East Singhbhum district was recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius. Bokaro recorded a maximum temperature of 38.1 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature in the state capital Ranchi reached 34.1 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

People advised not to get out

The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid going out between 12 noon and 3 pm during the scorching heat.
