There will be a change in weather in Delhi and its surrounding areas from today. There is a possibility of light rain or drizzle in Delhi-NCR areas for three days from today. India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. The hottest day of this year was recorded in the national capital on Tuesday, when the mercury reached 34.8 degrees Celsius, 6.4 degrees above normal.

At present, alert has been issued for cloud thunderstorms and lightning shine in many districts including Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly. Alert issued for Rajasthan

Yellow alert has also been issued today for Rajasthan. According to the warning issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of brightening and light rainfall with surface air (30–40 km per hour) at different places in the surrounding areas including Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sikar and Alwar. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to take refuge in a safe place during cloud and avoid standing under trees. Citizens have been advised to wait till the weather becomes normal.

At the same time, the temperature of Madhya Pradesh is steadily increasing. The temperature of three cities of the state has been recorded more than 39 degrees. Ujjain is the hottest among 5 big cities of the state. The day temperature has reached 38 degrees here. Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur crossed 37 degrees. At the same time, the effect of heat has also increased in Khajuraho, Narmadapuram, Ratlam-Mandla. A similar spicy weather will still remain today.
