The indecent remarks made by Ranveer Allahabadia in a YouTube show were heard in the Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court has taken its stance on the central government over the vulgarity spread in the YouTube platform. Government should do something in this matter- Court

A bench headed by Justice Suryakant has expressed concern over the misuse of digital platforms. Justice Suryakant said to Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Aishwarya Bhati, ‘We want you (government) to do something. We will be happy if the government is ready to do something. Otherwise we will not leave this emptiness and barren area the way the so -called YouTube channels and YouTubers are misusing it. ‘

Should not be ignored- Court

The court has given Attorney General R.K. Venkataramani and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta have also sought assistance. Along with this, the Supreme Court said that we should not ignore the importance and sensitivity of this issue.

Government is thinking on making laws!

This question of the Supreme Court has come in front of the Center at a time when there were reports a few days ago that the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology is considering writing a letter to the Center to strengthen the law. So that the government can ensure that Ranveer Allahabadia made indecent comments on YouTube. Such abusive comments cannot be made on any other YouTube channel.
