7-seater Maruti Grand Vitara
According to the information received, Maruti will offer separate styling to provide a clear difference between the 7-seater mid-size SUV coming from the current 5 seater Grand Vitara. The interior is expected to get new dashboard layouts and chrome-ambelished air-con vents with a large vertical free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. Interestingly, Maruti has filed two new trademarks in the last few months: Escudo and Torchnado. We hope that Maruti will choose one of these names for the seven-seat SUVs. It will be based on the same global C platform of Suzuki with currently Grand Vitara and Brezza based. 7-seater Grand Vitara is expected to get vertical touchscreen and advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) facility.
How much can the price be
Maruti’s Grand Vitara will be directly competing with Kia Carence, Hyundai Alkajar, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV 700. If you talk about the price, then its initial price can start from Rs 14 lakh (ACSa show room) and reach Rs 22 lakh.
