Technology Desk, Indore. Vivo is going to launch its new smartphone Vivo V50 in India on 17 January today. It is the successor of Vivo V40 and will enter the premium mid-range segment. Many new upgrade will be seen in this smartphone, including many important features ranging from design to features.
Vivo has revealed many details about this through Flipkart, due to which consumers are already getting to know about this smartphone.
Vivo V50 Design and Display
- The Vivo V50 has a quad-curved display, which will be slightly curved from the four sides of the smartphone. Its display will be protected from Diamond Shield Glass, which will protect it from scratches.
- This smartphone will be available in Titanium Gray, Rose Red and Starry Blue color options. The company claims that, despite having a large battery in it, the design of the phone will be slim and attractive.
Vivo V50 Camera and Battery
- In terms of camera, many upgrade have been made in Vivo V50. It has a 50MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Apart from this, there is also a 50MP ultravide camera and a 50MP selfie camera, which claims excellent photo quality.
- Talking about the battery, it has a 6000mAh battery, which will get 90W fast charging support. This smartphone will be the thinnest phone in its segment, in which such a large battery is being given.
Vivo V50 Software and AI features
The Vivo V50 will work on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, which will include many AI features like Circle to search, AI Transaction and AI Live Call Translation. This smartphone is the ribrand version of the Vivo S20 in China.

- The price of Vivo V50 can start from Rs 37,999 in India, which can go up to Rs 50,000 for the top and variant. This smartphone will be available on the websites of Amazon, Flipkart and Vivo India.
- Pre-registrations have already started for this, in which users are getting 1 year of extended warranty and V-shilad (screen damage protection) facilities.
