After the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Delhi Assembly elections, the swearing -in ceremony of the new cabinet will take place at Ramlila Maidan. The results of the assembly elections were announced on 8 February. Police sources said on Sunday that Ramlila Maidan is one of the possible sites that are being considered.
BJP got 48 seats in Delhi
In the elections held on February 5 in Delhi, BJP won 48 out of 70 assembly seats while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 22 seats. The BJP government is going to be formed in Delhi after 27 years. Due to this, the oath ceremony is also going to be very grand.
