IPL 2025 full: schedule: BCCI has announced the schedule of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 18th edition of the IPL will begin on 22 March 2025 and the final will be played on 25 May. Defending Champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will host Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the prestigious Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 22 March.

74 matches of the season will be played on 13 venue and will include 12 double-headers. The afternoon matches will start at 03.30 pm Indian time, while the evening games will start at 07.30 pm Indian time. The first day of 12 double-headers will be March 23 when Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the afternoon game in Hyderabad. This will be followed by an exciting match in the evening with two five -time IPL Champions – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) MA will be face to face at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

IPL matches will also be organized in Dharamshala

Out of 10 10 teams of IPL, three teams will play on two venue. Delhi Capitals will play their home matches at Visakhapatnam and Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play their two home matches in Guwahati – where they will host KKR and CSK and the remaining domestic matches will play at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Punjab Kings will play their four domestic matches at New PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh while Punjab will play three domestic matches against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at Dharamshala Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.

Final after 10 years in Kolkata

After the conclusion of the league stage round, the playoff matches of IPL 2025 will be played in Hyderabad and Kolkata. Hyderabad will host the qualifier 1 and Eliminator on May 20, 2025 and 21 May, 2025 respectively. Kolkata will then host the qualifier 2 on 23 May 2025. The final match of IPL 2025 will be played in Kolkata on 25 May 2025. An IPL final match will be played after 10 years at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Earlier, the last time the IPL final was held here in 2015. In that final, Mumbai Indians (Mi) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and won the title.
