Bad car on Noida Expressway

The Noida Traffic Police has started tightening the crushing commercial vehicles. Now the vehicle owners will have to keep their car in the right position. If a vehicle is spoiled on the Noida Expressway, then it can be fined up to 20 thousand rupees. According to traffic police, ‘invoices’ can be issued for commercial vehicles stopping due to any disturbance on Noida Expressway and disrupting traffic flows.

The traffic police, under section 201 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, can also impose a minimum penalty of Rs 5000 for an unexpected condition like tire puncture to obstruct the free flow of traffic.

There is a jam in these places

According to PTI news, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Lakhan Singh Yadav said that its objective is to raise awareness among commercial vehicle owners so that they keep an eye on their vehicles and traffic jams can be avoided. About 8 to 10 lakh vehicles pass through the Noida Expressway. DND flyovers, Chilla border, inspirational sites etc. are the main hotspots, where traffic problems are the most revealed. He said that commercial vehicles include buses, trucks, DCMs, overloading vehicles etc.

22 vehicles seized in seven days

The Deputy Commissioner of Police clarified that the fine would be imposed on private vehicles. DCP said, “In the last seven days, we have seized 22 vehicles due to malfunction and also invoiced about 210 vehicles.” Krishna Kumar Sharma, a resident of Greater Noida, said, this is a good initiative and this will help reduce the unwanted hurdles in traffic on the Noida Expressway. However, another resident Anil Kumar Chetiwal said, “Vehicles with emergency such as tire puncture or any technical problem should not be fined. (Input-PTI)
