There are speculations that after the voice feature in Google Pay, those people will also be able to use UPI, who do not know how to read and write. Those users will be able to make online payment through voice command only. According to the report, this voice feature can be launched soon. Google is working on Bhasini AI product with the Government of India. This project will help people to pay with the help of local language.
Google is also working on machine learning as well as AI to prevent rapidly growing cyber fraud in India. Machine learning and AI can help prevent online frauds and threats. Google pay dominance
Most users use PhonePe and Google Pay to make UPI payment in India. According to the report in November 2024, Google Pay’s total UPI payment in India is 37 percent. At the same time, PhonePe holds 47.8 percent stake. In such a situation, India has a stake in more than 80 percent of the UPI market. After the voice feature in Google Pay, the number of users making UPI through this app may increase further.
