New Delhi: The video of youths at the Jama Masjid railway station in Delhi Metro and crossing the AFC gate is going viral on social media. It is seen in the video that many youths are crossing AFC (Automatic Fair Collection) gate. At the same time, some youths are also making videos on this occasion. After the video went viral, when social media users raised questions, DMRC released the clarification. DMRC said that this situation was made only for a while and the situation was never out of control.

DMRC issued a statement on the whole matter

After the video went viral, Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director of DMRC’s Corporate Communications, issued a statement saying, “In the context of a video going viral on social media, in which some passengers are getting out of AFC Gate, DMRC It wants to inform that the incident is from Jama Masjid Metro Station on the Violet Line on the evening of 13 February 2025. During the exit by some passengers, there was a temporary crowd of passengers for some time.

‘The situation has never been out of control’

Anuj Dayal said in his statement, ‘Security personnel and other employees were adequately present to advise such passengers and the situation never excluded control. Rather, it was a transient reaction of some passengers due to a sudden crowd at AFC Gate. Let us know that after the video went viral on social media, many users also questioned security. In the video, a large number of youths were seen crossing AFC Gate one after the other. However, the metro has tried to answer people’s questions by clarifying on this matter.
