Let me tell you, all eight TNPL teams had already retained their star players and released some big names like Vijay Shankar and Washington Sundar, which were included in the auction along with several top players in Tamil Nadu. Fast bowler M Mohammad won the most discussion in TNPL auction. M Mohammad became the most expensive player. He was included in his team by Salem Spartons for Rs 18.4 lakh. Vijay Shankar became the second most expensive player to be sold in the auction. Chepak Super Guilies added Shankar Ro with him for Rs 18 lakh. Former leg -spinner of UAE, Karthik Meppan, who became the first UAE bowler during the 2022 T20 World Cup, was bought by Cinem Madurai Panthers for Rs 9.2 lakhs. Karthik, who has experience playing in the ILT20 and Global T20 Canada, has now moved to the Chennai team.

Riten had many star players including Ashwin

Tamil Nadu and India’s star players Varun Chakraborty (Dindigul Dragons), Shah Rukh Khan, Sai Sudarshan (both Laika Kovai Kings) and R.K. Sai Kishore (Ideme Tiruppur Tamizhans) was retained by his concerned franchise before the auction. Former India’s off -spinner R Ashwin was also retained by Dragons. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) left hand spinner Swapnil Singh was bought by Chepak Super Gillies for Rs 10.8 lakh. 18 -year -old Andre Siddharth, who was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the recent TNPL auction for Rs 30 lakh, was bought by Kovai Kings for Rs 8.4 lakh.
