During that time Harbhajan Singh was part of the Indian cricket team and asked his colleagues about Geeta Basra. The chemistry between Bollywood and cricket has been interesting. However, Harbhajan Singh was initially rejected by Geeta a cup of coffee proposal. After getting married with an Indian cricketer, Geeta Basra decided to give up the dream of acting and preferred her family. After marriage, Geeta left acting and took care of her children. The couple had a daughter named Hinaya Heer Plaha and a son named Jovan Veer Singh Plaha. Geeta Basra made her debut in 2006 with Emraan Hashmi with ‘Dil Diya Hai’. He later did another film ‘The Train’ with the same actor.
