The headmaster of a secondary school in Deoghar district of Jharkhand was bombed by unknown accused. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, when the principal was going to get some goods from his scooty. On the way, unknown persons attacked him with a bomb, in which he died. Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Madhurpur) Satyendra Prasad said that Sanjay Kumar Das, Principal of Mahuadabar Secondary School, was going on a two-wheeler for some work, when unknown persons threw a bomb at him. He said that Das was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The SDPO said that a police team reached the spot and started the investigation. He said that the cause of the attack and the number of attackers is yet to be known. The officer said that the police have started searching for criminals.
Fear of murder in land dispute
The relatives of the deceased say that there is a possibility of murder due to land dispute. The attack took place near the school. According to the information, the principal left the school to get the goods of SDM. At a distance of about 100 meters, two people were sitting ambush. Principal sheep was going towards Nawadih. Meanwhile, he was attacked and died on the spot. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot on foot.
Police force present in the village
After the attack on the school principal, the police team reached the spot and registered a case and started investigation. The police team is camping in the village itself. The big officers are present on the spot and an attempt is being made to locate the accused. The wife of the deceased school principal has been the first Zilla Parishad member. However, at the moment she also teaches in school. The real reason for the murder has not been revealed so far. (Input-PTI)
