Government Construction company NBCC has sold 1233 flats through e-auction in a new project in Greater Noida. The company has sold these flats for a total of Rs 3217 crore. This is a major achievement for NBCC, along with this, it will help the company to complete the stranded projects of the bankrupt Amrapali Group. According to the Supreme Court directives, the ‘Amrapali Stald Projects Investments Reconstruction Establishment’ (ASPIRE) has been formed to complete Amrapali’s stalled projects through NBCC.
The company sold 274 flats earlier
Public sector company NBCC has been asked to complete 38,000 flats and hand it over to home buyers. In a statement released on Tuesday, NBCC said that it had successfully sold 1233 flats in Aspire Golf Homes through e-auction. A total of Rs 3216.95 crore has been received by a total of Rs 3216.95 crore. The project ‘Aspire Gold Homes’ has a total of 1507 flats in 11 towers. NBCC had earlier sold 274 flats.
Home buyers put up much more than the reserve price
E-auction saw tremendous response. The bids made by home buyers were much higher than the reserve price. NBCC said in its statement, “This fund will help in meeting the bank loan payment as well as the funds of projects running.” This sales will be helpful in completing stalled Amrapali projects and many houses Buyers will fulfill their home dreams.
The company’s shares have seen a huge decline on Tuesday
Let us tell you that there was a big decline in the stock market on Tuesday. The decline also recorded a major loss in NBCC shares. On Tuesday, NBCC shares closed at Rs 85.33 with a decline of Rs 4.94 (5.47%) on BSE. NBCC shares have 52 weeks high 139.90 rupees and 52 weeks are Rs 70.14. The company’s current market cap is Rs 23,039.10 crore.
