IRCTC Dividend: IRCTC, the tourism and catering company of Indian Railways, released the results of the third quarter of the current financial year on Tuesday. The company told the stock market exchanges that their net profit increased by 13 percent in the third quarter of FY 2024-25. The company said that they had a net profit of Rs 341.08 crore in the October-December 2024 quarter, which was Rs 299.99 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company said that profits have also increased due to increase in income.
The company’s income increased to Rs 1281.20 crore in the third quarter
Along with the net profit, an increase in the company’s income has also been recorded. In the third quarter of the current financial year, the company generated an income of Rs 1281.20 crore. Let us tell you that the total income of the company in the third quarter of the last financial year was Rs 1161.04 crore.
Government company announced dividend for investors
Apart from releasing financial results, the company has also announced dividend for its investors. The Board of Directors of IRCTC have approved a dividend of Rs 3 on each stock with a face value of Rs 2 for the financial year 2024-25. Let us tell you that this is the second interim dividend declared by the company for the current financial year. The government company fixed a record date on February 20, 2025 for the payment of this dividend.
IRCTC shares fall by nearly 3% on Tuesday
Like most shares on Tuesday, IRCTC shares also recorded a major decline. The company’s shares fell by Rs 22.25 (2.88%) per cent on BSE yesterday at a price of Rs 751.25. Let us tell you that the company’s shares have come down considerably from their 52 weeks high. The 52 week high of IRCTC shares is Rs 1148.30 while its 52 week is Rs 736.25. The company’s current market cap is Rs 60,100.00 crore.
