Haris rauf injury: There are now just a few days left in the Champions Trophy 2025 event. Pakistan is very excited about hosting the tournament, but before that the host country has suffered a major setback. Actually, Pakistan cricket team is playing a TRAI-Nation ODI series in their home before the Champions Trophy. A Pakistan bowler has been injured during this series. This bowler is none other than fast bowler Haris Rauf. Haris Rauf was injured in the first match of the Tri-Nation ODI series played between Pakistan and New Zealand on 8 February.
Injured bowlers got injured
Haris Rauf got the injured in the 37th over during New Zealand’s innings. Haris team went out of the field without waiting for Physio to be investigated, due to which all -rounder Salman Aga had to complete his over. Before leaving the field, this Pakistan fast bowler bowled 6.2 overs, in which he took one wicket for 23 runs. After this, it was feared that Haris Rauf is finding it difficult to play in the tri-series as well as the Champions Trophy. After 1 day of this incident, a big update has come out towards Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB.
PCB released a statement
The Pakistan Cricket Board has given a big update to Haris Rauf’s injury. According to the Pakistan Board, the right -handed fast bowler sprains the lower chest during the game and will be rested in Pakistan’s match against South Africa in the TRAI Nation ODI series.
The PCB said in a statement that after the MRI and X-ray scan, it was confirmed that Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf had a sprain of the chest during the match against New Zealand on Saturday. The injury is not serious and it is expected that the ICC Champions Trophy will be fully cured by 2025, which will begin in Karachi on 19 February. The PCB Medical Board has decided to relax the Pakistani fast bowler as a precaution. Now it has to be seen how long Haris Rauf is fully fit.
