Policeman on the spot
In Amritsar, Punjab, the police arrested three people, busting a big terrorist module. AK-47 guns and two pistols have been recovered from them. Police said that the arrested accused used to carry out terrorist activities by taking money. After being caught by the police, an accused tried to escape and tried to shoot at ASI. Policemen also retaliated. During this time two terrorists have been injured.
Talking to news agency ANI, Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, “Amritsar Police Commissionerate has achieved great success. We have busted a terrorist module and arrested three people. We have arrested an AK-47, A few rounds, a pistol of 0.3 bore and a cartridge with a cartridge, have been recovered.
One accused tried to shoot at ASI
The police officer said “We are investigating their weapons and ammunition and are also finding out how they reach them. We are also investigating the entire network of money, weapons and drones. I congratulate my team for successfully carrying out the operation. Went.”
Four terrorists were caught 10 days ago
On January 30, the Punjab Police arrested four people after an encounter in Tarn Taran and busted a module associated with foreign terrorist Lakhbir Singh alias Landa. The accused were allegedly giving guidelines to the accused Gurdev Singh alias Jaisal Chambhal and Satbir alias Paut Naushera living in Canada. Identification of those arrested, Robinjit Singh alias Robin, resident of Muradpura, Tarn Taran, Harpreet Singh alias Happy, resident of Usman village, Navjot Singh alias Nav Navo Nava and Jagdeep from Ghuman Kalan, a resident of Kalanaur, Gurdaspur and Jagdeep Singh alias Jagga was done.
Accused are associated with forcible recovery
Police also recovered two grenades, two state-of-the-art points 30 bore pistols, ammunition and three magazines from the possession of the arrested people. During interrogation, the accused confessed that the seized grenades and weapons were sent through their unknown colleague. He revealed that he (arrested accused) was planning to target someone at the behest of Chambhal and Naushehra. The official said that the arrested people are related to several criminal cases including forced recovery and gang violence. (Input-ANI/PTI)
