All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has severely criticized the Union Budget 2025. He said during a discussion on the budget in the Lok Sabha on Monday that this budget cannot make “developed India”. Participating in the discussion on the budget in the Lok Sabha, he also alleged that this government is working in a sense of prejudice towards the minorities and the intelligence, especially Muslims, have been completely ignored.

“… until then the large population is poor”

Lok Sabha member from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi said that until the girls get training, the large population is poor and until 15 percent of the Muslim population of the country is ignored, India can never become “developed”. He also alleged that the budget for minorities at the center level, most of the budget of most of them could not be fully spent. In addition, he claimed that the government has completely ignored the sentiments of Muslims and other minorities and have not taken any concrete steps to improve their social and economic conditions.

What about the middle class?

Owaisi also raised serious questions about Waqf properties. He said, “The government does not want to make Waqf properties a source of income, but wants to eliminate them. During this time, Owaisi said that the middle class is being made a ‘sacrificial goat’.

Budget development not oriented: NK Premchandan

Participating in the discussion on the budget, RSAP leader NK Premchandan also supported Owaisi’s criticism and said that this budget is not “development -oriented” and there is nothing for the common people. He said that “half -behavior” should be closed with states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu. (input language)
