Ola Electric has launched its first electric motorcycle ‘Roadster X’. The company has fixed the initial price of this electric bike at Rs 74,999 (ex-showroom). Launched at the initial price of. It is Ola’s cheapest electric motorcycle. It will be available with three battery pack options and will cover a distance of up to 200 km in single charge. The base variant of the Roadster X of ₹ 74,999 has a 2.5 kwh battery, which will give a range of up to 140 km once charged. At the same time, the mid-spec model is available in ₹ 84,999 and has a 3.5 kW battery. It will give a range of up to 196 km once charged. The top-spec worth ₹ 95,999 will give a range of 4.5 KWH variant 252 km. The company has also introduced Roadster X+ which is available with 4.5 KWh battery and 9.1 kwh battery. Their price is ₹ 1.05 lakh and ₹ 1.55 lakh. The range of these variants is 252 km and 501 km.
Features of Ola Roadster X
Ola Roadster X Electric Motorcycle is equipped with a 4.3 -inch LCD screen, operated by Ola MoveOS 5. With this, Roadster X has facilities such as turn-by-turn navigation, advanced region, cruise control, TPMS and OTA updates. It includes three riding mode – sports, normal and eco. Roadster X+ is also equipped with Energy Insights, Advanced Region, Cruise Control and Reverse Mode. Ola Roadster X is powered by a single electric motor that gives a peak power of 9.38 bhp throughout the range. With its three different battery pack options, it offers different top speeds. With 2.5 kwh battery pack, the roadster X gives a top speed of 105 kmph, while the 3.5 kW option promises a top speed of 118 kmph. The range-topping gives a top speed of 4.5 kwh and 91 kwh battery pack variants 125 kmph. Roadster X has alloy wheels with front disk and rear drum brake setup. With this, the Ola provides a combi braking system (CBS) with brake-by-vir technology. The bike has a set of telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks at the back.

The Ola Roadster X, just like the Ola electric scooter, comes with a minimalist esthetic and sharp, edge body panel with a futuristic design. The battery pack is placed under the Fox Fuel Tank, which also has a small storage compartment to keep the necessary goods. DRLs get rectangular LED headlamp clusters, a flat single-piece seat and a single-piece Pillion Grab Rail.
